Terms and Disclaimers
Effective August 22, 2026
In plain words. You are paying to put a name on one web page for at least 60 seconds. After that, anyone who pays more takes the slot. There are no refunds, ever. We promise you nothing and we accept no liability of any kind. This is for fun. It is not an award and it says nothing about any real person.
These Terms are an agreement between you and What About AI (“we”, “us”), who runs worldsbestgirl.com (the “Site”). If you use the Site or buy anything on it, these Terms apply to you in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site and do not buy anything.
1. What this is
The Site shows one short name at a time under the words “World’s Best Girl”. People pay to choose that name. Each payment has to beat the one before it. That is the whole thing. It is a novelty sold for entertainment.
2. What you are buying
You are buying one revocable, non-transferable chance to have a short name shown in the featured slot on the Site’s home page for at least 60 seconds, and after that only until someone else pays more. Nothing else is included.
You are not buying:
- ownership of anything, or any property, account, or intellectual property right;
- any physical item, or any service that continues over time;
- any promise about traffic, attention, exposure, publicity, or commercial benefit;
- a place in a contest, competition, sweepstake, lottery, raffle, auction with a settled winner, or any bet or game. No prize exists and nothing of value is awarded.
3. Your guaranteed 60 seconds
Each completed payment joins a queue and is shown for at least 60 seconds of actual display time. A turn starts at whichever comes later: the moment your payment clears, or the moment the turn ahead of yours has had its full 60 seconds.
So if you pay while someone else’s guaranteed time is still running, your name does not go up straight away, no matter how much you paid. It waits its turn. If several people pay close together, each one is shown in the order they paid, and your turn may begin some time after your payment. We guarantee the 60 seconds once your turn arrives. We do not guarantee when that will be.
The 60 seconds are counted by the Site’s own clock and assume the Site is reachable. Time when the Site is down, slow, or blocked for reasons outside our control does not extend it, and nothing is refunded or credited for it.
4. The price
The featured slot has a published minimum price. Every completed payment raises that minimum: the next person has to pay at least one dollar more than the highest amount committed so far. You may pay any amount at or above the published minimum. Paying more does not buy you a longer turn or any extra right. It only raises the number the next buyer has to beat. Nobody is required ever to beat it.
While your checkout is open, your amount is held and the published minimum goes up to match. If you abandon the checkout or it expires, the hold is released. If someone else completes a payment while your checkout is still open, your checkout is cancelled before any charge is taken, and you are free to start again at the new price. We are not required to hold a price for you.
5. There are no refunds
Every payment is final. We do not give refunds, for any reason, ever. That includes, and is not limited to, all of these:
- Your name is replaced the second its guaranteed 60 seconds run out.
- Your turn starts later than you expected because people ahead of you were still using their guaranteed time.
- You changed your mind, made a mistake, typed the wrong name, or typed the wrong amount.
- Somebody else used a name you feel belongs to you.
- We rejected or removed your submission under section 7 or section 8.
- The Site is down, breaks, changes, or shuts down for good.
- You did not get the attention, reaction, or result you were hoping for.
You are buying digital content that is delivered immediately. By completing checkout you ask us to start immediately and, as far as the law allows, you give up any right to cancel, withdraw, or change your mind that you might otherwise have had. Nothing here takes away a right that the law says cannot be taken away.
If we ever choose to make an exception for someone, that is a one-off courtesy. It is not an admission that we owed anything, and it does not entitle you or anyone else to the same thing later.
6. We promise you nothing
Apart from the 60 seconds in section 3, we make no promises, guarantees, commitments, warranties, or representations of any kind, to you or to anyone else, about the Site or about anything you buy on it.
To be specific, we do not promise that:
- the Site will work, stay online, stay the same, or keep existing at all;
- your name will stay up for any length of time past the guaranteed minimum;
- anyone will see, share, notice, or care about the name you paid for;
- the Site will be free of errors, bugs, downtime, or interruptions;
- anything shown on the Site is accurate, complete, or kept up to date;
- records such as the Hall of Fame will be preserved, correct, or available.
We can change, pause, limit, or permanently shut down the Site, or any part of it, at any time, for any reason, without notice and without paying anyone anything.
Nothing said anywhere, by anyone, in any format, creates a promise or a warranty that is not written into these Terms.
7. Rules for the name you submit
You are responsible for the name you submit, and for the optional name you may add for yourself. Both are published publicly. You confirm that you have every right needed to submit them and to have them published, and that they do not:
- contain a slur, or harass, threaten, bully, demean, sexualise, or defame anyone;
- name or identify a private person without that person’s consent, or reveal anyone’s private information;
- refer to anyone under 18 in any sexualised or demeaning way;
- impersonate anyone, or falsely suggest a link to or approval from anyone;
- infringe a trademark, copyright, or anyone’s privacy or publicity rights;
- promote hate, violence, self-harm, crime, or an extremist cause;
- act as an advertisement, web address, social handle, solicitation, spam, or scam; or
- break any law.
We filter submissions automatically. The filter is imperfect. If it lets something through, that is not approval and it does not waive these rules.
8. We can remove anything, at any time
We can refuse, edit, hide, replace, or permanently delete any submission at any time, for any reason or for no reason, with or without telling you. No refund is given when we do. That includes when we remove something for breaking the rules in section 7.
Removing a name does not lower the price for the next buyer. The published minimum always reflects the highest amount anyone has committed, so nobody ever pays less than someone before them.
If you think a name on the Site breaks section 7 or harms you, write to legal@whataboutai.com and we will look at it.
9. This is not an award and not a statement about anyone
The words “World’s Best Girl” on this Site are a novelty caption sold to whoever pays the most at a given moment. They are not a judgement, an opinion, a ranking, a comparison, a measurement, an endorsement, or a statement of fact about any person. No reasonable person should read them as one.
The Site gives no title, status, honour, or recognition of any kind. A name appearing here does not mean that person knows about the Site, agreed to it, approves of it, or has any connection to it.
10. Chargebacks
Because every sale is final, starting a chargeback or a payment dispute breaks these Terms. If that happens we may immediately and permanently remove the name, refuse to sell to you again, and recover the disputed amount plus any fees and reasonable costs of collecting it. The published minimum price is not reduced.
11. You must be 18
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You must use a payment method you are allowed to use. We run the Site from the United States. If you use it from somewhere else, that is your choice and your responsibility under your local law.
12. Payments
Stripe, Inc. processes payments. We never receive or store your card number, security code, or other payment credentials. Stripe’s own terms also apply to your payment. The charge may appear on your statement under a name linked to What About AI rather than the name of this Site. All prices are in United States dollars. Any taxes, currency conversion charges, or bank fees are yours to pay.
13. What you allow us to do with your submission
By submitting a name you give us a worldwide, free, permanent, irrevocable, non-exclusive licence to show, copy, store, archive, and distribute it in connection with running and promoting the Site. That includes automatically generated share images, historical listings, and previews on other websites and social platforms. You give up any moral rights in it as far as the law allows. You are not owed any payment for this.
14. Do not attack the Site
Do not interfere with, overload, probe, mass-scrape, reverse engineer, or try to gain unauthorised access to the Site or the machines it runs on. Do not use software to open checkouts you do not intend to finish, or to manipulate the published price. We can rate limit, block, or refuse service to anyone.
15. No warranties
THE SITE AND EVERYTHING ON IT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR CREATED BY STATUTE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM EVERY WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM HOW BUSINESS IS USUALLY DONE OR HOW PARTIES HAVE DEALT BEFORE.
You use this Site entirely at your own risk.
16. We accept no liability
Read this one. To the fullest extent the law allows, we accept no legal liability of any kind, to you or to anyone else, arising out of or connected with this Site, your use of it, or anything you pay for on it.
Neither What About AI nor its owners, officers, employees, contractors, or suppliers is liable for any of the following, and this list is not exhaustive:
- any money you spend here, or any loss of money, time, data, business, profit, revenue, opportunity, reputation, goodwill, or peace of mind;
- indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages of any kind;
- the Site being unavailable, slow, broken, altered, attacked, or shut down for good;
- anything anyone else submits, and anything anyone does or thinks because of something they saw here;
- any decision you make, or money you spend, in reliance on anything on the Site.
This applies however a claim is framed, including contract, negligence, other tort, strict liability, statute, or anything else, and it applies even if we knew or were told that the loss was possible.
If a court decides we are liable anyway, then our total liability for every claim added together will not be more than the amount you actually paid us in the six months before the event, and in no case more than one hundred United States dollars ($100).
Some places do not allow some of these exclusions or limits. Where that is the case, they apply as far as the law allows and no further, and the rest of this section still stands. Nothing here removes liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by agreement, and nothing here removes a right you have that the law says cannot be given up.
17. You cover us
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless What About AI and its owners, officers, employees, and contractors against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, fine, cost, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from the name you submitted, your breach of these Terms, or your breaking any law or anyone else’s rights.
18. Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in the Privacy Notice. The most important point: the name you submit, and the optional name you may add for yourself, are published publicly. They can be copied, cached, indexed by search engines, screenshotted, and reposted by people we have no control over.
19. Which law applies
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, ignoring its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree that any dispute goes only to the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware. You and we each give up the right to a jury trial, and agree that claims must be brought individually and not as part of a class or representative action. Any claim must be started within one year of when it arose, or it is barred for good.
20. Changes to these Terms
We can change these Terms at any time by posting a new version with a new effective date. Changes apply to purchases made after they are posted. If you keep using the Site, the current version applies to you.
21. General
If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, that part is narrowed or removed only as far as needed and the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You cannot transfer these Terms to anyone else. We can transfer them freely. These Terms and the Privacy Notice are the whole agreement between you and us about the Site, and replace anything said before.
